Pacific Crest Trail, Washington, Photos.
The Pacific Crest Trail ( PCT ) winds 2,658.7 miles ( +or- ) from the desert at the Mexican border, through the Sierra Nevada and Klamath mountains in California, through the Cascade mountains in Oregon and Washington, and into Canada. We began in August, 1991, and completed the walk in August, 2006, a 15 year project, taking three years out for India, Alaska, and a broken leg. Pictures from access trails or side trips are so labeled. Mt. Whitney, at the end of the John Muir trail, is a natural side-trip from the PCT; pictures from Whitney are in the gallery by that name. After a few of our favorites on the first page, pictures arranged generally from south to north on the trail. Flowers searchable (above) by name, family or color, Bob and Martha SikoraRead More
